Born on 29th April 1941 in Milan, graduated from the Bocconi University, Gianni Pasini boasts a long career and a recognized experience in the fields of auditing, compliance and corporate governance. Partner of McLintock Main Lafrentz (currently KPMG) until late Seventies, he was then appointed by Italian Government for the position of Commissioner of Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa (CONSOB) during G. Rossi and V. Milazzo chairmanships (1981-1984). Chairman of Italian Association of Financial Analysts (AIAF) from 1989 to 1995, and currently member of its Advisory Board, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors for Nedcommunity, the Association of Italian Independent non-executive Directors of which he is a promoter.
Business Advisor, Auditor, Assessor of Courts and Conciliator, Gianni Pasini holds in the Firm the position of Compliance Senior Advisor. In this capacity he mainly deals with compliance and regulatory requirements in the field of advisory to banks, financial brokers and collective investment funds, completing thereby the specific legal skills of the Firm with his wide, technical and operational experience. The specific Pasini’s skills involve, namely, authorization proceedings for banks and financial brokers, advices for offer and placement of financial instruments (including IPO and listing compliance procedures), compliance to Italian rules by foreign banks and financial brokers , analysis, setting-up and assessment of corporate governance systems (for banks, companies listed or to be listed, SGR (portfolio managers) and other financial brokers); for this advisory assistance, he deals and enjoys close relationships with Italian Regulators (Consob and Bank of Italy).
